Black ink, 36,2 x 23,6 cm (visible), wove paper, ink signed, pencil titled, ink titled and dated on verso frame (sl. foxed, few sm. light stains).
Under passe-partout and frame.
Original portrait of Ensor for his birthday in April. The friendship between the two artists was also illustrated in other works by Gaillard who often visited him in Ostend.
