Etching, 13,8 x 17,8 cm, Japan paper, plate signed, pencil signed and dated, pencil signed on verso (margins very sl. rubbed).
Hinged at upper edges. Under passe-partout.
In this etching Ensor returns to one of the favourite themes of 17th-c. Flemish masters such as David Teniers. The depicted mill was located at Oudenburg near Ostend.
