Album showing Grenoble, the largest city of the Isère department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of Southeastern France. Grenoble was the capital of the Dauphiné, a former province whose area corresponded to that of the present departments of Isère, Drôme and Hautes-Alpes. Representing city views of Grenoble and the fortification near the river, Sassenage and Oursière waterfall, Ponts-de-Claix, Uriage-les-Bains, Allevard-les-Bains, Vizille Castle, Grande-Chartreuse, the train track "Ligne de la Mure", several hiking routes, the Belledonne massif, glaciers, seracs, crevasses, etc.
