8vo: [12]-514-[19-3 bl.] pp. (front. missing, sm. repairs in bl. margin p. 401, some light soiling).

Contemp. mottled calf, gilt spine with raised bands, red leather title label (rubbed, sm. def. on headcap). Good copy.

Rare variant issue of the first edition of the Dutch translation of "Heilsames Gemisch Gemasch" (Würzburg, 1704) by Abraham a St. Clara (1644-1709), monastic name of the German Johann Ulrich Megerle. Illustrated with 50 half-page engr. rectangular emblems by J. Luyken. Each emblem with a caption. Other issue with Janssonius van Waesberge on title. Title printed in red & black. Woodcut ornament on title.
