20th-c. leather with remains of old blind-ruled leather pasted on, gilt titled spine on 4 raised bands, decorative endpapers. Good copy.
Rare 1st edition of a long philosophical dialogue by the Scottish humanist in France Florence Wilson (fl. 1525-1550). It is an eclectic work blending Aristotelian, Stoic and Christian ideas.
