Lot description
20 lithographies on thick wove paper, 31 x 47 cm (foxing troughout).
Contemp. black quarter sheep, gilt- and blind-orn. cloth boards with gilt initials and date on upper board, gilt-fil. spine with raised bands (us., rubbed, endcaps missing, boards faded).
Collection of very rare lithos by Ph. Ham (fl. 1846-1871), with views of the convent of Berlaymont rue de la Régence, near the church of the Minimes (visible on several views). Enriched with 2 lithos: portr. of Marguerite de Berlaymont, founder of the convent,- costume of a nun.
