16mo: [16]-272-[15-1 bl.]-95]-[1 bl.] pp. (toned, 1st and last ff. soiled).
Contemp. overl. vellum, traces of ties (front joint split and loosening, tail dam.). Good copy.
Greek texts with facing Latin verse translations by the Bruges humanist and Leiden professor Bonaventura Vulcanius (1538-1614), printed by Plantin at Leiden, but issued in 2 versions (with Leiden or Antwerp address). The Callimachus is dedicated to Janus Dousa, the Moschus to Justus Lipsius. Woodcut mark on title and part title.
