Gevaert (1828-1908) was a Belgian musicologist and composer. He succeeded Fétis as director of the Brussels Conservatory. Various subjects: he asks Huberti to replace him at a concert at the "Grande-Harmonie", comment on his oratorio "Bloemardinne"; funeral of the singer Emiel Blauwaert; etc. G. Huberti (1843-1910) was a Belgian composer, i.a. professor of harmony at the Brussels Conservatory.
