Contemp. mottled sheep, gilt-orn. spines with raised bands, marbled edges (some light scratches on covers).
First edition by the French writer and avocat Mouffle d’Angerville (1728-1795?). Ill. (complete) with 9 engr. portraits of the protagonists (Louis XV, Madame de Pompadour, de Fleury, etc.) and 1 title-vignette.
