Contemp. mottled sheep, gilt Kampen arms on covers within double gilt-decorated frame, richly gilt spine with raised bands, red leather title label, marbled edges (sl. rubbed). Good copy in a nice binding.
First edition of this compilation of early Roman law, edited and annotated by the famous law professor at Leiden A. Schultingh (Nijmegen 1659-1734), also known as the "Cujacius of the Netherlands". Title in red and black.
