Woodblock, 18,6 x 11,1 cm, signed (1 sm. hole).
Excellent condition.
Original woodblock for the woodcut of a sculptor holding a chisel and a sculpture of a female figure. In the background his hammer is lying on the table. A suiting subject since Jozef Cantré (1890-1957) was both a blockcutter and a sculptor.
