Etching, 19,7 x 14,1 cm, signed "Rembrandt pinx / Sommerau scul. Romam", Italian text (sm. tear).
Good impression. Under passe-partout and frame.
After a painting by Rembrandt (1606-1669) in Rome. This type was very popular in his oeuvre, for similar paintings see i.a. Amsterdam (Rijksmuseum, inv. SK-A-3340).
