Lot description
Woodblock, mounted on 2nd block, 6,4 x 7,1 x 2,2 cm (part of coat of arms missing).
Good condition.
A man smoking a pipe and dried tobacco leaves surround a merchant's mark. A part of the coat of arms was probably a plug that could be removed and replaced. A tobacco merchant used this woodblock to mark is wares.
Joined: 2 men in a workshop. 19th c. Woodblock, 5,4 x 7,5 x 2,2 cm. (2 pcs)
