Etching, 68,6 x 46,0 cm, laid paper, signed "Ger. Laires Fecit.", Dutch text (trimmed inside platemark, horizontal fold at bottom, sm. tear, few sm. tears strengthened).
Loose under passe-partout. Good impression.
Large composition with Jupiter, Mercury and the Dutch virgin pointing to Apollo & Daphne and Neptune & Coronis. Below the Dutch lion chasing away the French rooster and the English dog. 2nd state with text.
