Pencil, white gouache, 27,6 x 16,3 cm, brown wove paper, unsigned (laid down on cardb., sm. marg. def., minor foxing, discolouration along the edges).
The figure of a standing prophet, after the same figure in Andrea Del Sarto's Journey of the Magi in the Basilica della Santissima Annunziata in Florence. The figure is sometimes interpreted as a self-portrait of the Florentine artist.
