Rare first edition of Desnos's road atlas with 20 engr.: a dedicatory pl. to Cassini de Thury, a general map of France, and 18 route maps. Instead of the incomplete edition that appeared in 1764 (?) (no copies have been found), this copy has been supplemented with 5 new maps (n. 14 to 18), as mentioned in the "Avis" at the end. The maps are dated 1764 or 1765. Bound hereafter are the "Prospectus", the "Catalogue alphabétique des routes royales et particulières" and the "Catalogue alphabétique du supplément".
