Etching and drypoint, 9,2 x 5,9 cm, laid paper (some foxing, mostly visible outside platemark).

Hinged to paper at upper edges. Good impression with margins.

The Holy Family resting underneath a lantern. Slightly later impression from Rembrandt's original plate from c. 1644. 7th state (of 9) with the plate reworked on and around the head and shoulders of Joseph. Before the plate was extensively and crudely reworked again by the workshop of Henri-Louis Basan (early 19th c.).
