Half black buckram, black paper on covers, flat spine titled in white (rubbed, cloth almost entirely detached).

Charming album mainly composed of portraits of women, also Oriental, children, men, mother with child, compositions for fans, etc. Some are captioned, a.o. "L'Abandonnée", "Amateurs de pastèques. Souvenirs de Rome", "Gretta", "Consolatric afflictorum'" and "Cendrillon". This album also includes handwritten citations in French, a list of the exhibitions in 1896 and 1897 in which Dell'Acqua took part (in Belgium, but also in Barcelona, The Hague and Munich) and other various notes incl. names of paintings or watercolours he realised or that were commissioned (?).
