Mod. red morocco, blind-ruled covers decorated with gilt fleurons, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, gilt inside dentelle, gilt edges (partly sl. rubbed).

Rare first part only containing "Les Amours" of this ed. published posthumously of the works of Ronsard given by Claude Binet and Jean Galland. Illustrated with 3 wood-engr. medallion portraits (Henri III, Ronsard and the humanist Marc Antoine Muret); woodcut vignette on title.
