Pencil, watercolour, 28,7 x 21,5 cm (visible), wove paper, signed and dated "Alfred Malherbe 51".
Under passe-partout and gilt frame (not studied outside frame). Excellent condition.
A woman pressing a piano key in order to start singing. According to a note on the verso, the watercolour portrays a singer of the Royal Theatre of La Monnaie.
