Mod. brown cloth with orig. front cover mounted, flat spine. Mod. brown paper ill. slipcase. Nice, partly unopened copy.

Rare Issue 1 of The Acorn, a short lived Modernist publication that only existed for two issues. Ill. with front. etching by F. Brangwyn ("Fishmongers Wharf, London Bridge"), an etching by H.G. Webb ("Old fisherman"), 1 photogravure and 2 tipped-in illustrations. Nice woodcut initials and ornaments by H.G. Webb. With i.a. poems by W.B. Yeats ("Do not love too long") and G.K. Chesterton.
