Lot description
Pencil and white chalk highlights, 30 x 20 cm, tinted wove paper, signed "Jules".
Under passe-partout and old wooden frame (some scratches and dark stains, not studied outside frame).
Later typed note on verso: "Portrait du Baron Félix [...] mon grand'oncle, dessiné au crayon par son frère le Baron Jules d'Udekem [Belgian physician and zoologist], membre de l'Académie Royale de Belgique (1824-1864)".
