13 parts in 1 vol., folio (some spotting, browning and foxing, rare tiny burn holes).
Contemp. mottled calf, covers with central gilt supralibros, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands and label, spr. edges (rubbed, scratches on covers, joints splitting, tail missing, head with def., local stains).
Large compilation of regional histories of the Southern Low Countries by the Leuven historian Gramaye (1580-1635), incl. works by Lindanus (Dendermonde) and De Guyse (Mons). As usual the order of the various parts differs from copy to copy. Ours contains (in order): Brabant, Leuven, Brussels, "Gallo-Brabantiae", Antwerp, "Taxandria", Breda, Namur, Mechelen, Ghent & Bruges, Dendermonde, Mons, and Cambrai. Ill. with 10 engr. headpieces by Harrewijn among which views of Leuven, Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges and Ypres. Titles in red and black. Text in 2 col.
