Contemp. quarter marbled sheep, marbled paper on covers, orn.-spine with raised bands, red spr. edges (rubbed, endpapers browned at the edges due to the binding).
Rare French translation by Jean-Pierre Ricard (1674-1728) of a Dutch treatise on rules of the European stock exchanges, esp. at Amsterdam, by Phoonsen (1631-1702). With a frontispiece reproducing the front of 2 bookshops close to the Amsterdam stock exchange (Fr. L'Honoré & J. Desbordes II). Title in red & black. Stocklist of Etienne Rogers music books after the index. This ed. is a reissue of the 1st ed. of the translation (Amst., E. Roger, 1715).
