Nice series depicting the 32 genealogical quarters of Lucas Willem van Essen (1686-1737), lord of Vanenburg, of his wife Wilhelmina Johanna Torck (1689-1767), of Evert Jan Benjamin van Goltstein (1665-1744), and of his wife Charlotta Agnes van Essen (1683-1748), from the branch of Helbergen and Oldenhave. The son of E.J.B. van Goltstein and C.A. van Essen, Philips Hendrik Baron van Goltstein (1715-1775), married in 1745 Judith Margaretha van Essen (1720-1793), daughter of L.W. van Essen en W.J. Torck.
