Folio: [8]-CCCCCXXII [= 522] ff. (occasional marginal soiling or dampstaining, tears in ff. 22 and 116-117).

Old calf, richly gilt spine with 6 raised bands and morocco label, gilt sides, sp. edges (rubbed, head repaired, front joint splitting). Very good copy.

Uncommonly rare scholarly ed. of the Corpus Vergilianum by the learned printer Badius (1462-1535). Text of Vergil in larger type surrounded with glosses (full-page or in 2 col.). Title and part title in red and black. Large woodcut mark of Petit on titles.
