Interesting picture of Antwerp, near Oosterweel, after the explosion at Corvilain gunpowder factory, 6 september 1889 (Kattendijkdok and Westkaai), when many neighbouring houses and the Antwerp petroleum warehouses caught fire. Pictured at the front are victims trying to cope with the disaster.
