Various sizes, on paper, in French and Spanish (various cond.).

Charles Baudequin (d. 1650) was "Lieutenant conducteur des Ambassadeurs en ma Court" (receiver of the ambassadors at the court of Madrid) of Philip IV of Spain and was member of a family originally from Dijon which entered the service of the Dukes of Burgundy during the 15th c. Various topics: correspondence, notes, recipes, etc.
Joined: 1-2. 2 documents about members of his family (a letter about Philippe de Baudequin, written from Segovia, 1560, confirming that he is in the service of Philip II, and a contemp. copy of a letter to the Infante Isabella of Spain on the services rendered by the Baudequin family). - 3-7. 5 letters by Luys de Monthour and an unidentified Spanish document.
