Lot description
Drawing, watercolour, 42 x 28 cm, cardb. 49,5 x 32,5 cm, pencil signed at bottom right (pinholes in corners, repaired sm. marg. tears).
Tumultuous scene of a manifestation in Brussels getting out of hand. At a streetcorner there is a clash between the Belgian gendarmerie and protesters firing their handguns. At the lower right, a man on the ground reaching for his wounded head.
