Engraving, 21,9 x 28,1 cm, laid paper, signed at bottom centre: "Paulus. Bril. inventor." and right: "Iusto Sadeler excud. Venetia." (light stain at bottom centre).

Under passe-partout and gilt frame (not studied outside frame). Good impression with wide margins.

After a design by the Flemish landscape painter Paul Bril (ca. 1553-1626), who died in Rome. Published by the Flemish Justus Sadeler (ca. 1572-1620), who was mainly active in Italy. With a dedication to Christophorus Ferrarius by the publisher in the lower margin. 2nd state with address.
