Impressive roadstead view of Antwerp and the Scheldt from the left bank, which was a rural area for a long time. First published in Antwerp by Jan-Baptist Vrints (ca. 1555-1610) and later issued in Amsterdam by J. Loots (1630) and Cl. J. Visscher (1652). All these states are different from this copy which has a new bilingual text in the cartouche of pl. 4 "De Lotharinger Vorst, de eerste Hendrik bou[w]de [...]".
