Mod. red morocco signed L[aurent] Peeters (Antwerp), covers and spine richly gilt-decorated "à la Du Seuil" (spine sl. discoloured, a few sm. bumps), all edges gilt and gauffered, marbled endpapers. Good copy in a nice modern binding.

Rare New Testament in Dutch, corrected by the theologian H. van den Leemputte (Den Bosch 1587-1657). Numerous sm. woodcuts in-text after Chr. van Sichem. Woodcut on title and at the end. In Gothic type.
