Orig. German binding: quarter blindst. and rollst. pigskin on bevelled wooden boards, spine with raised bands, metal clasps (worm holes, lower board cracked and lower corner missing).

Rare second ed. (1st: Manutius, 1516) of this extensive "encyclopedia" discussing the philological meanings of various passages from ancient literary and historical works by Ricchieri (1469-1525), prof. of Greek at Milan, and ed. by Bade.
