17th-c. vellum, covers with coat of arms ruled by a doublet fillet, spine with raised bands, spr. edges (front cover damaged (with a tool?) with sm. loss).

First Lyon edition of this collection of 10 philosophical treatises and dialogues by the Italian humanist and politician Pontanus (1426-1503), considered as the most eminent Latin writer of the Renaissance, after Politian. Printed in italics.
