First part of the rare second edition (1st 1753-1755) of this baroque Saints' calendar. Engr. front. and 90 full-page engr. plates showing the Saint of the day (31 + 28 + 31) in an animated scene in mannerist style and within a nice decorated border, by various Augsburg engravers mostly after the Austrian rococo painter J.W. Baumgartner (1712-1761). Unpaginated title page at beginning of each month.
