Engraving, 21,6 x 24,9 cm, laid paper with watermark (coat of arms), signed in the plate at bottom centre: "Marti. de Vos inuen. Anto. Wierix sculpsit Gerard. de Iode excud.", two columns with each 6 lines of Latin text in lower margin: "HIERONYMUS..." (partially trimmed to platemark, several parts strengthened).
From a series on "The Four Fathers of the Church", published in the "Thesaurus" of Gerard de Jode in 1585.
