Joyous Entry of Louis XV.

Drawing, black and white chalk, 21,3 x 37,3 cm, laid paper, unsigned, inscription in pen and brown ink on the mount identifying the subject: "La France accompagnée de deux provincea(ux) est aux pieds du Roy pour lui témoigner la Joye..." (slightly browned, several creases and small stains).

Mounted on blue paper, on an additional sheet and on a passe-partout. In gilt wooden frame (not studied outside frame).
