Cont. limp Flemish panel stamped calf, covers with nice blind-stamped animals (dragons etc.), spine on 3 raised bands (loosening, rubbed, head and tail dam., front cover cut into, catches and clasps gone, endpapers lifted and loose). Good copy.
Small-format ed. of a popular work (1st Cologne 1499) by the Carthusian prior of Zelem (Diest) Petrus Dorlandus (1454-1507). It contains 7 dialogues on the duties of men to other men and God, 6 of them based on the "Theologia naturalis" of the Catalan philosopher Raymond of Sabunde (1385-1436). Woodcut at the end.
