Contemp. overl. vellum, flat spine titled in ink, remains of ties, blue edges (ties gone). Good copy.
Early ed. (1st: Paris 1578) of a humanist Greek phrase-book, in the form of an alphabetical dictionary of Greek idioms. The French Benedictine scholar Jacques de Billy de Prunay (1535-1581) was famous as a translator of Greek patristic texts. Woodcut mark on title.
