Issued to 980 copies, of which 60 not for sale (n. 689), one of the 290 printed for the company "inmediaONE]" (n. 102), for which the decorated box was created. The Lindisfarne Gospels, illuminated manuscript, was probably produced around 715-720 in the monastery of Lindisfarne, presumably written by the monk Eadfrith, who became Bishop of the monastery in 698. With the 2 accompanying commentaries by Michelle P. Brown in English and German (preface by Umberto Eco).
