Contemp. calf, gold central ornament within double gold roll-stamped border, a.e.g., chiselled edges (worn).
Interesting and rare early linguistic treatise on Latin orthography and etymology, by Dausque (1564/6-1644). Liminary poetry by i.a. Antonius Sanderus. Various chapters dedicated to contemporary scholars such as E. Puteanus, L. Fromondus, P. Castellanus, C. Gevartius, Cl. Salmasius. Illustrated with a fine engraved title, with types evoking handwritten graphics, and woodcut tail pieces.
