Lot description
Watercolour and gouache, 56 x 76 cm, thick paper, signed in lower right corner "Paul Cauchie".
Lovely landscape with an isolated church, set in the middle of the fields. Although Cauchie (1875-1952) is now best rememberd as architect and sgraffito designer of Art Nouveau, he remained a prolific artist also during the first decades of the 20th century as a landscape painter.
