Lot description
Drawing, pen and black ink, with grey wash, 40 x 24 cm, laid paper with Vanderley watermark, unsigned (tiny tears in margins, not affecting the image).
Elevation and ground plan of an oval pavillion in the Corinthian order, adorned with statues of saints. Probably a late Baroque chapel altar. Includes a scale line at the bottom.
Joined: De Cuyper, Petrus Josephus - Pediment decorations with Virgin Mary and Saint Roch. 1832. Drawing, pen and black and brown ink, 20 x 47 cm, laid paper, signed and dated in pen at right side "P.J. De Cuyper Geplaatst te Merckxem 1835". Probably a design for the interior of the St. Bartholomew church in Merksem. (2 pcs)
