Lot description
Drawing, pen and black ink, grey wash, 20,5 x 30 cm, laid paper with watermark, unsigned (sm. stains in margins, not affecting the image).
A royal procession of King David, entering Jerusalem with the Ark of the Covenant after the battle against the Philistines. Given the oval shape, the drawing might be a design for a stained-glass window.
