Lot description
Drawing, pen and black ink and watercolour, framing lines in black ink and grey wash, 47 x 98 cm, carbon paper laid down on wove paper, signed at lower right "LEO . PIRON . ARCHITECTE" (some tears in margins, not affecting the image).
Large oblong architectural drawing for the facade of a never executed project for the Cinquantenaire palace. Most likely made as an academy assignement during the student years of the Belgian painter Leo Piron (1899-1962).
