Drawing, pen and brown ink, grey wash, 19,5 x 18 cm, laid paper with Italian watermark, unsigned (thin paper, sm. tear at upper right corner, holes in paper at upper centre and upper right corner due to ink oxidation).
Stuck by upper corners under passe-partout.
Carried by four winged putti, the Holy Virgin is lifted into the heavens. Perhaps a preparatory sketch for an altarpiece.
