Folio: [4]-63-[1 bl.] pp. (without frontispiece coat of arms; title underlaid, sm. repair in blank margin of last f., browning, some soiling).

Old vellum, green ties. Good copy.

Very rare first and only edition of this anonymous work on the family van Vaernewijck. With a genealogical history and the 2nd part containing 48 extracts from medieval city and other registers, archives, testaments, etc. to prove the author's point. Ill. with a large engr. coat of arms of the family van Vaernewijck, with the motto "Laet vaeren nydt". One folding genealogical table. Large and smaller woodcut initials. Woodcut mark on title. "Ouvrage rare et fort important pour l'histoire des familles nobles de Gand" (Bibl. gant.).
