Engraving, 48,5 x 56 cm, old hand-coloured, unsigned (delicately toned, margins reinforced, sl. undulating and dampstained).
Passe-partout, framed.
Synoptic image of the Holy Roman Empire symbolically represented as a prince-elector in full robes covered with the name lists of all its rulers, princes, electors, and dukes. On the left is a pillar of heraldic coats of arms and on the right the crown and chair of state. From Seutter's "Atlas Novus".
