Embroidery, 58 x 82,5 cm.
Mounted on wooden board, in passe-partout, framed.
Delicately embroidered triptych in warm tones. Based upon the 16th-c. painting "The Lamentation of Christ" preserved in the Museum of the Basilica of the Holy Blood in Bruges, this is a variant of the same composition in reverse.
