Various sizes, in vellum, in German and Dutch (seals missing, some ms. annot. on versos).

1. Deed of Gerhard of Cleves, Count of La Mark, relating to an estate in the vicinity of Linne (Limburg, NL). 7 Sept. 1442. 1 f. Gerhard of Cleves (1378-1461) was the son of Count Adolf III of La Marck and Margaret of Jülich, who had acquired the County of Cleves in 1368.-- 2. Deed of Philip of Cleves, Lord of Ravenstein, relating to the lordship of Ingelmunster. 16 March 1520. 1 f. Philip of Cleves (1459-1528) is known for being one of the leaders of the revolt of the Flemish cities against Archduke Maximilian when Philip the Handsome was still a minor.-- 3. Procuration letter of John III, Duke of Cleves and Count of La Mark, in favour of his son Willem and relating to the will of the Lord of Ravenstein. 18 Dec. 1528. 1 f.
